During the first visit, we make sure to obtain important background information, like your medical history as well as your previous dental history. Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your first visit:
X-RaysIf a previously seen dentist or physician has taken x-rays, you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office. If additional films are necessary, they can be taken at our facility. We follow the American Dental Association guidelines for cavity detection x-rays and full mouth diagnostic panoramic x-ray. It is recommended that you have cavity detection x-rays every 12 months and the panoramic diagnostic radiograph every three years.
